TuringBot is a program that, given a table of numbers x1, x2, x3, ..., y, discovers formulas such that y = f(x1,x2,x3,...). It does that using a technique called symbolic regression.

What is optimized is the formula itself, and not just the constants of some preexisting model. As a result, you can use the program to derive mathematical laws from measurements in an automatic way.
